We GO empowered by the Holy Spirit to teach the commands of Christ by word and by example in our homes, social organizations, and churches while endeavoring to share the Gospel in our communities.
Vacation Bible School (Every Summer)
VBS is a great opportunity for children to learn about the Christian faith through fun and engaging activities with friends.
Door-to-Door Outreach (Various Times Around the Year)
One great way to connect with the community is going door-to-door to invite them to church to learn about the God’s Kingdom.
Christmas Caroling (Various Times in December)
To celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we go around neighboring communities and sing to spread Christmas cheer.
NewLife Multiplication Strategy
Our church multiplication strategy encourages all church leaders to mentor their replacements so we can have a replenishing pool of leadership for church planting. This also includes a pastor in training so the church can plant another ministry that is uniquely qualified to reach out to an underserved area of North Michigan.
Hi I’m Adam,
I am a second generation Free Methodist with a calling and passion for Church Multiplication. My current hats range from being a Store Director at a grocery store during the day and a pastor (as of 2016) at Big Rapids Free Methodist Church. I also graduated from Wesley Seminary. I will be getting married this summer but still enjoy being an uncle to this adorable little girl and her twin sister. With rest of my time, I enjoy playing bass and acoustic guitar, running, and spending time with my friends and soon to be wife.
NewLife Parachurch Ministry Connections
We have many members that serve at parachurch ministries in our community, which is a wonderful way to serve by coming along side and supporting existing ministries. We are also supported by other organizations that provide items to our pantry to help area residents.
NewLife World Missions
We encourage the support of mission activities that help the church grow around the world.
- We have a family that went to TruDeNordt, Haiti, to help a church that was planted by the Wesleyan Denomination. The building of this wonderful ministry is now complete, thanks to the family building pews and helping with the health clinic. As of 2016, that church now has over 700 members.
